Carbohydrates


Don't think that carbohydrates are bad. It is the backbone of all our dietary needs. We have to judiciously mix the components in our daily diet.

Carbohydrates are the main source of energy we get from our diet. It breaks down into the smaller simple molecules of sugar, which serves as fuel to our body engine.

The major sources of carbohydrates are grains, fruits, vegetables, sugars and starches. Not only they provide us energy but also provide us essential vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients.
